Film crew on board

The fifth day since our departure from Mindelo has arrived. The last seasick guests are feeling better, and everyone has found their rhythm on board.

As promised, here’s a bit about our atypical guest crew:

We have a team on board creating an artistic documentary. The film shares optimistic life stories of young people from around the world, aiming to inspire hope in other youth facing war and hardship. A truly meaningful project.

Specifically, there are five groups on board: the initiators, an Italian artist couple, the director with a small team, a production crew, the technicians (camera and sound), and the main participants, young people from different countries with inspiring stories.

As the ship’s crew, we are used to being in charge of life on board. Many of these groups are also accustomed to leading in their professional lives, so coordinating everything smoothly is a challenge. Fortunately, everyone is cooperative, and we manage together.

Filming and sound recording happen regularly, requiring extra care not to disrupt the process. All in all, it’s very different from what we’re used to, but fascinating and rewarding.
