Restocking in Mindelo

It has now been three months since we departed from Rotterdam. Before departure, all storage spaces on board were filled to capacity with provisions. Fresh supplies such as vegetables, fruit, cheese, and meat were used up long ago and are replenished in every port we visit.

After three months at sea, some non-perishable goods are now also running low. Time to restock. During our stop in Mindelo, we replenished our canned drinks. A dinghy, fully loaded with trays of soft drinks, was brought alongside and the supplies were hoisted on board.
