New bowsprit

With only three weeks left until departure, the preparations for our world trip are in full swing. In addition to all planned jobs, there are also some unplanned jobs. The biggest one is that we decided to replace the bowsprit. There seemed to be a softer spot in one of the wind cracks. To be on the safe side, we are replacing it now. The mast maker has a huge job because the bowsprit is 12 meters long, 45 cm thick and weighs about 1100 kilos. Now that the bowsprit itself is finished, we have to remove the old one and transfer all the fittings.
