Father and son trip

Well, off we went we had only just got all the fathers and sons on board, all tested negative and welcomed and we casted off on a sun-drenched evening. The plan was nice: with southwest 3 to Terschelling and with northwest 4 back again. But on the New Waterway, with the piers in sight, we sailed into the fog. With a maximum visibility of 150 meters and much less speed than we had planned, we sailed north.

That meant that we would arrive at Terschelling at night-time. Given the poor visibility this was a very bad plan. So we changed our plan and went to Texel. Also really nice.
The next day we left after lunch to sail back to Rotterdam. The next morning, after a swim in the North Sea, we sailed back up the New Waterway. We had a wonderful weekend. What I liked most was the atmosphere on board: fathers and sons with the accompanying struggle and humour. I like that.
