As fast as we sailed to Uig, loch Snizort on Skye yesterday (with 25 knots of wind, gybing between the islands, with a jib and a reefed mainsail and sailing into the Loch with 9 knots), so calm and relaxed was today’s trip to Portree, the ‘capital’ of Skye. A beautiful trip, in the sun, sailing out of one loch and sailing into the next one with 4.5 knots. The beautiful green hills and dramatic rock formations were breath taking. In the afternoon we dropped anchor in my dream bay. It is all possible in Scotland. It is different every day.
