After a few days with a bit of rain the sun is back and it will stay dry so we can pick up the painting and varnishing. Last week Matu and Timo went home and Jan came back to help Richard, Jan-Willem and Jenny with maintenance. Anke, our new office colleague is helping too. A great way to get to know the crew and ship.
As you can imagine there is always something to do on board. Jan-Willem is touching up the bow. Richard has sorted out his stores and painted them so he is now helping the crew with sanding and varnishing in between cooking for the crew. And Jan and Anke are working on the roof deck. A good opportunity to test the new deck tent. Because we now even have a nice tent to put over the aft to work under or (and that is what we much rather see!) to put up during events on board. We hope that this will be happening rather sooner than later..
