Portholes

The wheelhouse is getting fixed up. The carpenters have replaced some wood. To do this we had to take out the portholes. This gave us the chance to make them all nice again. First, we removed the rust, then we put them in primer and now they have their final colour again.

Furthermore we get more and more stores on board. The soft drinks and beer have arrived. On Thursday we will get the life rafts and lifejackets back after their inspection.

The crew is working hard, but we also have a lot of fun. Jonathan has introduced Pancake Monday and the last two weeks Alessandro our former sailor was back on board for “holiday” (he was working alongside the crew). And you know people from Swiss like their cheese and so do we, so we made cheese fondue: yum!
