New guests, new wishes

New guests, new wishes

New guests, new wishes

21 August 2018

We have a new group on board and during the introduction we also asked them what their wishes are, so we can see if we can fit them in our schedule. Some wishes are easier than others… A few examples of easy ones: sailing, practicing navigation, being on board the ‘Oosterschelde’, being with a group of people, nature and Richards cooking skills.
The more difficult ones for this trip in Scotland are: the sun, star gazing, the northern light, Puffins (they move to the ocean in early August). But the most challenging one came from an American guest: he wants to learn to pronounce ‘Oosterschelde’ correctly…
Anyway, it will be a tough job trying to make these wishes come true, but we do what we can! Today we tick the first wishes off the list, because we are sailing on the ‘Oosterschelde’, with 28 people on board. We spotted the first seals, dolphins, gannets and Great skuas and Richard is the cook on board…
