Salcombe

24 July 2018

Update by captain Maarten:
“For the people who sailed with me this won’t be a surprise: we changed our plans.
Yesterday we were at anchor at Omonville-la-Rogue and we were tired of going on engine. So, we looked at the weather forecast and decided to move to the English coast. There should be a light wind today that could lead us to Ouessant.
This morning we arrived in Salcombe, but there was no wind at all! We decided to enter Salcombe to have a look at the village. When we left again there was still no wind, but we set all the sails anyway, so we were ready for the wind if it would come. And yes, there is a little and we are making a bit of speed. Now we wait for more to push us to Ouessant for Richards famous barbecue tomorrow night.
