Boa Vista-Sal

The last leg of our trips in Cape Verde is from Boa Vista to Sal. Usually the wind is not favourable for this leg, so we have to motor sail all the way.
As we had lots of wind this whole trip and last night the wind died down a bit, we decided to leave last night. This morning we arrived in a bay just below Palmeira. We are at the leeward side of the island, so the waves are not that high and the wind is not too strong. Ideal circumstances to do what we all like to do: sailing.
