Photo shoot

16 June 2017

After two nights at anchor we left the Cape Cod Bay. It was a lovely day of sailing. In the afternoon photographer Arthur made an extended photo shoot out of our dinghy after we had taken out all sails, all the time to sunset.
We are now anchored a few miles south of the Nahant peninsula. We just had Customs and Border Protection on board checking our passports. The customs officer was not glad with the job; we have seen a lot of seasick but this gentleman’s face almost was green. And he still had three more ships to go.
Now we are preparing for a party thrown by the Nahant community; they invited some crew of every ship. Tomorrow is the Sail-In Parade to Boston. Let’s hope weather will improve some and that we will be able to set many of our sails and make it an exquisite show for all.
