Tactic works!

It seems like our tactic works! We are far ahead of the other vessels in the A-class and we have a nice wind. Once in a while we see the ‘Pride of Baltimore’ (from the B-class) on the AIS. She is an estimated 70 NM behind us, and it turns out we sail much higher and faster! This feels great, since she has beaten us in the previous race.
The afternoon we will round the waypoints, and then we head for the finish line! But that is easier said than done. It looks like we do need to tackle. And that’s not a strength of a ship like the ‘Oosterschelde’.
