Dieppe

5 January 2016

The first day at sea was a bit of an adjustment for many of us on board. Getting to know the ship, the other trainees but also adjust to the sea. The weather (cold and rainy) does not make it more pleasant. But with sometimes a bit of sailing and other times the engine on we are making our way in the right direction. With a new lower pressure area ahead we decided to enter the French town Dieppe for shelter. We have left again but the weather conditions are not good but we hope to make some miles in the right direction. Our next goals is Brest. If the weather is bad in Biscay we can wait there for better wind.
