Cleared customs and departed!

Captain Gerben Nab reports:
“The last time I was in Cape Verde, was during the voyage around the world, now almost two years ago. Then I was on board to sail the ship to Brazil, now we stay here in the archipelago. It is remarkable how much has changed on Sal. Two major resorts have been build. Fortunately, many things also remained the same as before. For instance it took a few hours before the agent was traced and came to his office to help us with the customs formalities. After this we were free to leave and with a strong northeaster we sail downwind to Santiago. The sun pops through the clouds occasionally and we are sailing with a nice speed. Large shoals of flying fish (or should I say swarms?) fly through the sky, startled by the sound of the waves against the ship. With a temperature of 24 degrees and with pleasant company, life on board is not so bad. Santiago here we come!”
