Update by Marloes: “I slept like a baby the first night. With a bit of weary head I woke up after the match between Holland and Costa Rica and we get explanation about the ship, safety, sails and navigation. Around 3PM we depart from the harbour of Harlingen and we are being waved goodbye by thousands of people. It’s on!
With a nice wind we sail towards the North Sea. I feel a bit seasick but I am not the only one.
The first watch starts and the other watches try to get some rest. I have watch at midnight. I can’t fall a sleep so I decide to stay on deck and enjoy the sunset.”
