Port Arthur

Port Arthur

25 September 2013

After all it was a great day of sailing. Part of the fleet decided to sail on as long as possible towards Maria Island, on the east coast. Other ships decided to anchor at Port Arthur. This bay, the Carnarvon Bay, not only is awesome and deep, but  is also a place of historical importance. The English kept prisoners here, in harsh and cruel conditions. The prison is a museum now. We hope to explore this place later on.
