Luckily the custom clearance was not too hard. Somewhere in the back of the harbour area is an old building. Most rooms are not in use and dirty, most windows are broken. Pigeons fly from inside against the few windows that are not broken. I meet a friendly lady on the second floor, who is from the ‘policia federal’ and is very helpful. Se has a working laptop and a passport scanner, which will do the trick.
Brazil in a nutshell: everyone has got the chance to do some sightseeing in and around Salvador. The old centre of Pelhourinho for example, or one of the 365 churches, one for every day of the year. In the evening we all eat in a restaurant on the beach. Today we say goodbye to our guests. We have crossed the ocean, and reached another milestone of our global circumnavigation.
